We discussed how these sites are virtually the only thing on the internet coming out of N. Korea. No youtube videos (from N. Koreans at least), no twitter accounts, no private websites. N. Korea has been described as an “internet black hole.”

Today in the computer lab we will be using the internet to access and read specific documents that explain the rise of nationalism and the fall of Yugoslavia.
In this activity, you will read 6 selections about the former Yugoslavia and answer questions about them.
Some of these questions will not be answered specifically in the text. You will need to think critically about the readings and apply the concepts we have already discussed in class to answer them. You should also utilize the internet to find accurate information as required.
